Characters Present

Summary

Joe & Blue write out words.

Recap

Joe & Blue have been having fun writing labels, labeling all sorts of different things in the Blue's Clues house. We have fun with writing too, as Joe teaches us a trick where we can write a letter in the air using our finger. We find a character named Markie up in the attic and we help him to make labels for a couple of boxes. In the Skidoo segment, Joe finds himself holding a very large paintbrush and a character named Palette shows up and asks us to help her write a word.

Trivia

  • Unlike in other recent episodes where clues are shown simply magically appearing onto the Notebook paper and talking and singing, Joe is actually shown drawing the clues in this episode, The Scavenger Hunt and Magenta's Messages and they don't talk.
  • This is Joe's version of Blue's ABCs.
  • The name of the kid, Elisabeth, in the Mailtime Segment was misspelled on close-captioning as Elizabeth which is the more popular spelling for this name.
  • Periwinkle appears in the credits.
  • This episode never aired in the United Kingdom and Portugal because Kevin and Duarte has more than 3 letters in their names.
  • When Joe writes the Letter "J" as the first clue in his Notebook, he uses Steve's Crayon. This could be because this episode was filmed after Steve left.
  • Joe hasn't worn his green squared shirt for a long time. The last time he wore it was from I'm So Happy!.
